Rural Discovery Day
The Rural Discovery Day is a popular 'ag-ucational' day that brings the country to the city to teach primary school students that food comes from farms, not the shopping centre.
This excursion is recommended for Foundation to Grade 6.
2025 Rural Discovery Day takes place in mid May.

Ekka Excursion
An Ekka Excursion is a great way to engage students with the Australian agriculture in a memorable way by providing unique hands-on learning activities.
Students and teachers from across Queensland can visit the Ekka between Saturday, 9th - Sunday, 17th August 2025.
