Ticket Terms & Conditions

1. A reference to “RNA” in these Terms and Conditions is to The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland ABN 41 417 513 726 trading as the Brisbane Showgrounds, Ekka (also known as the Royal Queensland Show) and the Royal International Convention Centre, and the related bodies and agencies associated with the Royal Queensland Awards. 

2. By purchasing an Ekka Ticket through the RNA or its authorised agents you acknowledgeand agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales and Entry as well as any other conditions specified by the RNA on its website.

3. The Ticket is issued for use at the 2025 Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) from Saturday 9 to Sunday 17 August 2025. 

4. A Ticket allows single (1) entry for that Ticket type only unless otherwise specified on the ticket. 

5. The RNA is not liable to give a refund or exchange the Ticket for cancellation for any reason.

6. The 2025 Ekka will be operated in accordance with applicable Queensland Health directions in place at the time of the event, which are subject to change. Customers must comply with these requirements in place at the time of the event. 

7. The operation of some attractions may be affected by adverse weather conditions or maintenance activity. 

8. The RNA reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, displays, exhibitions and attractions and/or vary advertised programs, prices, seating arrangements and audience capacity. 

9. The RNA reserves the right to add, withdraw and/or limit the number of Tickets sold on promotion at any stage. 

10. The RNA reserves the right to prohibit the use of cameras, audio, and video recorders.

1. Adult Ticket available to those aged 15 years of and over at time of entry. Valid for one single entry.

2. Child Ticket available to children aged 5 years of age to 14 years of age inclusive at time of entry. Valid for one single entry.

3. Little Ekka Ticket available to children 4 years and under. Valid for one single entry.

4. Concession Ticket available to those with accepted concession cards (includes full-time students, seniors, and other concessions). You must present an accepted concession card on entry to the Show. Valid for one single entry.

5. Family Ticket includes 2 x Adult Tickets and 2 x Child Tickets. Adults and children must enter gate at the same time in order to use this Family Ticket. Children must be aged 5 years of age to 14 years of age inclusive at time of entry. Valid for one single entry.

6. Adult & Child Ticket includes 1 x Adult Ticket and 1 x Child Ticket. Adult and Child must enter gates at the same time in order to use this Adult & Child Ticket. Child must be aged 5 years of age to 14 years of age inclusive at time of entry. Valid for one single entry.

7. Twilight Ticket available to those aged 5 years of age and over at time of entry. Entry valid after 4pm on day of entry. Valid for one single entry.

8. Back For More Pass includes 1 x entry. Entry valid once for the remaining days of Show after the original ticket's nominated day.
9. Return Ticket includes 1 x entry. Entry valid once for the remaining days of Show.

1 for $6.80 Strawberry Sundae Voucher, 4 for $25.00 Strawberry Sundaes Voucher

1. By purchasing a Strawberry Sundae Voucher through the RNA or its authorised agents you are acknowledging and agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales and Entry as well as any other conditions specified by the RNA on its website.
2. This Strawberry Sundae Voucher is issued for use at Ekka from Saturday 9 August 2025 to Sunday 17 August 2025 (Show period). 
3. A Strawberry Sundae Voucher with its specified value (1 for $6.80, 4 for $25.00) is valid for use at all Strawberry Sundae outlets.
4. All 4 x Strawberry Sundaes in one (1) "4 x Strawberry Sundae Voucher" must be redeemed and collected at the same time. 
5. This voucher does not include entry to Ekka.
6. The RNA is not liable to give a refund or exchange the voucher for cancellation for any reason.
7. The Strawberry Sundae Voucher can be used in conjunction with cash for additional orders in a transaction at any Strawberry Sundae outlets noting normal pricing will apply for cash sales.
8. The RNA is not liable to give refunds on unused or unclaimed Strawberry Sundae Vouchers.
9. Participating outlets reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any Strawberry Sundae Voucher that has been damaged or defaced in any way, does not have a fully visible barcode or was not purchased through an RNA authorised seller. 
10. This Strawberry Sundae Voucher is not for resale, unless otherwise set out in these terms and conditions.  
11. The RNA is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged Strawberry Sundae Vouchers.

1. A Ticket can be upgraded to a Back For More Pass at the time of purchase. 

2. The amount of eligible Back For More Pass will be determined by the ticket type and quantity purchased (a tooltip will display the table the number of tickets eligible for that order). 

3. If a ticket type allows entry for more than 1 person, the amount of eligible Back For More Pass upgrades will follow as such; E.g. 1 x Family Ticket will be eligible for up to 4 x Back For More Pass. 1 x Adult & Child Ticket will be eligible for up to 2 x Back For More Pass. 

4. A Back For More Pass will only be valid for use on days after the nominated entry day of the original Tickets. 

5. A Back For More Pass is not eligible for a day change. 

6. A Back For More Pass allows single (1) entry for that Ticket type only. 

7. The RNA is not liable to give a refund or exchange the Back For More Pass for cancellation for any reason.

8. The RNA reserves the right to add, withdraw and/or limit the number of Second Day Pass sold on promotion at any stage. 
9. The RNA is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged Back For More Pass. 

The Purchaser of the 2025 Fun Pass Credits agrees to the following Purchase Policy: 

1. Buying Your Fun Pass Credits 

   The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland ABN 41 417 513 726 (‘RNA’) with the business name ‘Royal Queensland Show’ (the ‘Show’ or ‘Ekka’) is selling Fun Pass Credits (‘FPC’), for Purchasers to buy admission to rides and play games at the 2025 Royal Queensland Show. Ride operators charge different credit amounts for admission to their amusement.
   

   The Fun Pass Credits (“FPC”) and the associated mobile app (‘Ekka Fun Pass App’ or “the App”) is provided by Sendrato Australia Pty Ltd ABN 98 605 555 833 (“Sendrato”). Sendrato has been contracted by RNA to provide the Ekka Fun Pass Services to Ekka.   
    
   The Purchaser is making a payment to put credit onto a digital wallet in the form of either:  

   1)    An ‘In App’ purchase on the Ekka Fun Pass App’. The credits can be purchased from 27th June 2025, to be used on any day for the duration of the 2025 Show (9 August 2025 to 17 August 2025) or; 
    
   2)    A ‘Top-up Card’ can be obtained on the Showground, or you can reuse the old card from previous Shows. The chip in the physical card can be credited with Fun Pass Credits to be used on any day for the duration of the Show (9 August 2025 to 17 August 2025 inclusive). 

   Credits purchased are valid for any day throughout the Show period from 9th to17th August 2025. Credits are only for use at the 2025 Show and do not transfer over to the 2026 Show, or any future Shows.
   

   The Fun Pass Credits do not provide entry to Ekka. Show Entry tickets are available from the Ekka website on: https://www.ekka.com.au/visit-ekka/ticketing-information/. FPC can only be used on rides and games at the Show over the 9 operational days of the Show, after which time an application can be made to refund the value of unused credits which will be returned to the Purchaser’s nominated bank account, minus a processing fee. This application can only be made within the Ekka Fun Pass App within 14 days of the conclusion of the Show.

    

2. Refunds 

   You can refund the value of unused credits via the Ekka Fun Pass App at the conclusion of Ekka. The refund facility will be available from 09:00am Monday 18 August 2025 until 11:59pm Sunday 31 August 2025.    
    
   The refund application process is only available via the Ekka Fun Pass App. Refunds will be processed within 12 business days and attract a $2.50 inc GST processing fee. 
    
   At the conclusion of the refund period, all credits and value will expire, and digital wallets deleted. For the avoidance of doubt, after the 31st August 2025 Fun Pass credits return to zero and the credits do not stay on the card for the following Show or any future Shows.

    

3. Security of Data and Privacy Policies 

   Sendrato is contracted by the RNA to collect information and payment data from Purchasers through the Ekka Fun Pass App and manages the opening of wallets for Fun Pass Credits, top up facilities and refunds for a 30 day period at the conclusion of the Show.   
    
   Your personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in line with RNA’s and Sendrato’s privacy policies which can be found at:  

   (a) RNA Privacy Policy for the RNA, and 

   (b) Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for Sendrato. 

   These policies also contain information on how you can request corrections to your personal information, make a complaint, or otherwise get in contact with either entity in relation to your personal information.   
    
   The Purchaser agrees that it will only use FPC and the Ekka Fun Pass App for legal purposes and will not use these to engage in any conduct that is unlawful, immoral, threatening, abusive or in a way that is deemed unreasonable by the RNA. The RNA and Sendrato reserve the rights to freeze transactions or wallets on any CFP or suspend or revoke accounts which in their reasonable opinion (a) is not being used for its proper purpose or (b) is used in a way that breaches anything in this Purchase Policy.   
    
   Sendrato and the RNA may use cookies (a small electronic tracking code) to improve the Purchaser’s experience while browsing the App operated by the Company, and the Ekka website. The Purchaser may manage how it handles cookies in its own browser settings.

    

4. Payment Facility 

   The App allows you to apply credits to your Fun Pass account before arriving at the Show, and your account or card can be topped up during the show either by:  

   1)    Pay online by using the ‘top-up’ button on the App on your mobile,
   
   2)    Use EFTPOS by attending a self service kiosk at the Brisbane Showgrounds, or
   
   3)    Top-up using EFTPOS or cash at the Information Booths across the Brisbane Showgrounds.
   
   

   Purchasers must be aged 18 or over. Minors (persons under the age of 18) must not use a Fun Pass or Wristband without their parent or legal guardian’s consent. 
    
   Merchant Warrior ABN 13 132 951 172 is a payment settlement facility instructed by Sendrato to process your payment. Following a successful payment your Fun Pass wallet will be loaded with credits for use at the Show.  A Receipt of the purchase will be sent by email to the Purchaser. Payments made via the App will take no longer than 30 seconds to load into your digital wallet.  

   If your FPC do not appear on your Fun Pass Wallet after 60 seconds of purchasing, please contact Sendrato Australia via telephone on 1300 669 117 or by emailing [email protected]. Alternatively, contact the Ekka Guest Services team via telephone on 07 3253 3900 or by emailing [email protected].  

    

5. Transaction Fees 

   When purchasing credits via the App, a Service Fee of 1.5% will apply to each e-commerce transaction, whether purchasing credit for the first time, and/or for transactions to top-up funds into your Fun Pass wallet.  
    
   When purchasing credits at Ekka in any kiosks using EFTPOS, a Service Fee of 1.5% + 30 cents will apply to all onsite purchases excluding cash sales.

    

6. Process 

   Registration & Login 

   Purchasers may be able to register as a User, and access the Ekka Show Fun Pass App, by using their account with certain third party services (“TPS”) (e.g, Beatport, Facebook, Twitter etc.);  
   

   As part of the functionality of Sendrato the Purchaser may connect their profile with a TPS by:  

   1. Providing their TPS login information to Sendrato; or
      
      
   2. Allowing Sendrato access their TPS in accordance with its terms & conditions of service; and
      
      
   3. When connecting to Sendrato using a TPS the Purchaser warrants that they are not in breach any of the TPS’ terms & conditions of service.
      
      

   Creating a Digital Wallet 

   To establish a digital wallet the user is required to create an account which includes the disclosure of personal details including year of birth, phone number, residential address and email address. The RNA may use your contact details to promote products or services to you in relation to the event or similar events held at the Brisbane Showgrounds. You may make amendments or delete these details by contact us at 97041111 or they will be destroyed after seven years. Your digital wallet will be cancelled at the conclusion of the refund period. If you wish to cancel it before than you will need to click on the link in the confirmation email.  

   Forgotten Password or User Login 

   User login is your nominated email address. A One Time Password (OTP) will be issued on account creation.

   7. Lost or Damaged Cards and Wristbands 

   The Purchaser is solely responsible for the security of the Fun Pass they purchase. The Purchaser shall notify the Guest Services team on 07 3253 3900, via emailing [email protected] or by visiting the Guest Services counter located on the lower level of the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) as soon as you become aware of any unauthorised use or potential for unauthorised use.  
    
   Lost or stolen cards can be replaced during the Show at the Information Booths across the Brisbane Showgrounds. A $4 replacement fee may apply. Any remaining credit on the Fun Pass account/digital wallet can be transferred to the replacement card, providing the lost or stolen Fun Pass has not been fraudulently used in the meantime. 

    

   8. Disputes or Complaints 

   The words in this clause that are defined in the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Cth) have the same meaning. The Purchaser can direct notices, enquiries, complaints and so forth to Sendrato or Ekka at:

   9. Trademarks  

   The RNA has moral & registered rights in its trademarks and the Purchaser agrees not to copy, alter, use or otherwise deal in the marks without the prior written consent of the RNA. 

    

   10. Limitation of Liability 

   Statutory Warranties that are implied under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 are not excluded if goods or services are of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use.   
    
   Except for the Statutory Warranties referred to the above, the RNA does not make you receive no other warranties, conditions or representations, express or implied, statutory or otherwise in respect of your purchase. 
    
   RNA assumes no responsibility, and makes no warranty or representation in relation to, and shall not be liable for, any interruptions or errors in access to this website or the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, security or reliability of any communications or transactions made through the App.  
    
   RNA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or special damage or loss of any kind however caused and whether arising under contract, tort, (including negligence), or otherwise.   
    
   This Purchase Policy may be updated by the RNA from time-to-time. This Purchase Policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.  

    

   11.  Third Party Services 

   The Purchaser acknowledges that the Fun Pass and Ekka Fun Pass App are dependent on third-party services, including but not limited to banks, credit card providers, merchant gateway providers and telecommunications providers.
   
   

   The Purchaser agrees that the RNA will not be responsible or liable in any way for Interruptions to the availability of the Ekka Fun Pass or Ekka Fun Pass App due to third-party services; or information contained on any linked third party website.
   
   

   Sendrato agree to provide the remedies available under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), if the goods are faulty or not fit for purpose, including the re-supply of services or payment of the cost of re-supply of services; the replacement or repair of goods or payment of the cost of replacement or repair.

The RNA reserves the right to inspect all bags and containers being brought into the Brisbane Showgrounds and refuse entry to any person carrying any item that in the RNA's absolute discretion is dangerous or prohibited. 

1. The RNA reserves the right to refuse entry to any person whose Ticket is damaged, has been defaced in any way, does not have a fully visible barcode, or was not obtained through a Ticket seller authorised by the RNA. List of authorised Ticket sellers can be found on this page.
2. The RNA reserves the right to require the presentation of valid and current ID such as an Australian driver’s licence, Australian passport, or proof of age on a Concession, Child or Little Ekka Ticket. Carer with a valid carer or companion card receives free entry if accompanying disabled person (1 carer per person). List of accepted concession cards is available for viewing on Concession Cards. 
3. Persons entering the Brisbane Showgrounds do so at their own risk. The RNA accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage to any person or thing. 
4. Persons entering the Brisbane Showgrounds waive all rights in relation to any photograph, image, or likeness of them produced whilst attending the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). The RNA retains all rights in all images it produces.
5. No alcohol or drugs of any type shall be brought on to the premises. 
6. Scooters (except mobility scooters), skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, hover boards, Segway’s or other equipment that may interfere with pedestrian traffic are not permitted. 
7. The RNA reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests from the Brisbane Showgrounds for vandalism, stealing, offensive behaviour, queue line jumping, failure to follow safety instructions or failure to comply with these terms & conditions. 
8. Pass outs are available for free at all gates within the Ekka precinct between 9am - 8pm. Pass outs may only be used for re-entry to the Brisbane Showgrounds on the day of issue. Only one (1) Pass out is allowed for each Ticket holder. Suitable ID as outlined in Brisbane Showground T&C’s will be required. 

By purchasing an Ekka Ticket and/or Ekka Fun Pass, the holder agrees to the RNA Copyright, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. 

1. Discount promotions, including but not limited to Promotional Codes, exclude Ekka Fun Passes, Back For More Passes, Return Tickets and Strawberry Sundae Vouchers.

2. If a ticket is purchased for a Super Saver Day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday) a 20% discount is applied. 

3. Ticket prices for Super Saver Days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday) are 20% lower than for other days. Subscriber discounts will then be applied to that price.

4. Limits apply for usage of promotional discount offers and are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice at the discretion of the RNA. 

5. If a unique promotional code is used, these codes are limited to their availability and/or promotional period only. 

6. Super Saver Discount excludes Back For More Passes, Return tickets, Ekka Fun Passes and Strawberry Sundaes Vouchers.

1. 50% discount is off full priced tickets.
2. Limited availability, 50% discount is limited to the first 15,000 individual tickets sold.
3. After this cap is reached, discount will revert to 30% until 11.59am AEST Monday 30th June 2025.
4. Discount does not apply to the Ekka Fun Passes, Back For More Passes, Return Tickets and Strawberry Sundae Vouchers.
   

If a ticket is purchased for a Super Saver Day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday) a 20% discount is applied, before the 50% or 30% discount is applied. Super Saver Day tickets are valid for the entire ticketing period. Discount does not apply to Ekka Fun Pass, Back For More Pass, Return Tickets and Strawberry Sundae Vouchers.
